Drushyam (2014)Telugu Movie Plot
Drushyam (English: Visual) is an upcoming Telugu film directed by Sripriya and jointly produced by Suresh Productions, Rajkumar Theaters Pvt Ltd and Wide Angle Creations. Starring Venkatesh and Meena in the lead roles,[1] The film is a remake of the 2013 Malayalam blockbuster Drishyam starring Mohanlal and Meena herself.[2] Nadhiya is playing the role essayed by Asha Sarath in the original.[3] Sharreth composed the music while S. Gopal Reddy and Marthand K. Venkatesh handled the cinematography and editing respectively.
The film is about a common man who leads a happy family life. Unexpectedly, their life turns upside down after his family commits a crime and the rest of the story revolves around the father's attempts to save his family from the trouble. The film's principal photography commenced on March 8, 2014 in locales of Kerala. Then the filming continued at Araku, Visakhapatnam, Simhachalam, Vizianagaram and ended on June 8, 2014 at Hyderabad. The film is scheduled for a worldwide release on 11 July 2014 in theaters.
